He really liked his gift cause Santa brought him new clubs for christmas.

And this is my newly ENGAGED niece
Erin & her fiance Michael.
Congratulations to them!!!!

Christmas Eve

Ready for church

They got to open one gift before we left for church. When I was little we got to open one gift on Christmas eve. It was always new pj's. So, this has become a tradition for our family. The girls each liked their new pj's.

After Christmas eve mass.

Then we traveled to see my grandpa Hatcher. I remember going every Christmas Eve to my grandparents house when I was little. We go when we can. He is now 92 years old and loves seeing the little ones open gifts.

Christmas Crafting

The week before Christmas was full of happenings. I was busy with cakes and gifts wrapping. The girls needed some things to do to occupy their time.

So they made eatable Christmas trees.

Decorated them with M&M's.

And chowed down.

Messy, but fun for them to do.

Then another day they got to make door knob hangers.

They did a great job.

Supper With Santa

Pre School had "Supper with Santa" again this year. It is a fun night for them.

Here they are sitting on Santa's lap. Each received a book from elf Mary.

There were lots of crafts to do.

Cookies to decorate.

And tattoos!

There was even time to pose with good friend Gabi.

Giant Gingermen

The girls enjoyed decorating these giant gingerbread men. Maybe I should rephrase that... they enjoyed eating the candy off these giant gingerbread men.

Gotcha- 2 Years Ago

Miss Lindy Ann came into our family 2 years ago on December 18, 2007. I sometimes can't believe it has been two years already. She has grown so much in the time she has been with us. As I think back to that day in a cold government office in Hefei China I am remembering the scared little girls that was placed in my arms. This is the day that is called "gotcha day" in the adoption world. She was leagally adopted the next day (Dec 19). My heart just broke for her as she screamed (in Chinese) "NO NO NO"

But by evening she had warmed up a bit to her new mommy. She stopped crying but was very reserved.

This photo was taken on Dec 19 2007, after a night of sleep and a bath.

This is a picture of the girls today
Dec 18 2009.

Lindy's first meal with us. We ate in our hotel room. She ate spaghetti-O's, corn and peaches.

Her meal tonight!
We are so blessed with these girls. I cannot imagine life without them.
Happy Gotcha Day Lindy.
We love you!!

Fun, Fun, Fun

"Mommy, Can You Fix Her"

Yep, check this poor baby out. She has been be-headed!

Just hanging on by the wires that connected her body to her head. She can't talk anymore (darn)!
Sorry girls, you'll have to play with one of your other MILLION dolls that fill the toy box.
