Grayville Days 2009

My home town has it town wide celebration every Labor Day weekend. I remember being very excited as a kid. It starts on Wednesday evening with the queen contest and ends on Sunday evening with fireworks by the river. They close off the main street for all the festivities. There are lots of food booths, rides, music and a parade.

Lindy, Molly & Lily are waiting for the parade.

Some of our hometown vets opening our parade. This year my cousin, Chris (in the light tan camo) carried the blue flag. He is retired from the Navy (served 20 years).

Waving as Daddy rode by on his homemade tall bike.

Wow, they aren't afraid of the clown this year!

After the parade the girls rode lots of rides. This mini ferris-wheel was a favorite.

Riding with their buddy Lily.

I had a great time with my family and seeing people I don't get to see often.

I always admire the fun times your family has year-round! I also had to laugh b/c Henry has a tall unicycle in the garage. Maybe the "boys" can go bike riding on their tall bikes together. hee-hee!
Keep in touch!
